Product Of The Day: The Post-Shower Brush

Product Of The Day: The Post-Shower Brush

You've probably been told that brushing your hair in the shower is a big ol' no-no, yes? Well, thanks to the discovery of one of our favorite new (and super affordable) hair tools, brushing out wet and matted locks just got easy, safe, and fast.

Wet Brush, a brand we already love and trust for its gentle detanglers, just went and created the Shower Flex (just $7.99), which totally cuts out the back (and essentially reinvents the hairbrush-wheel) with its special backless shape and super-bendy, plastic material.

Like Wet Brush's other products, the Shower Flex brush features the brand's proprietary IntelliFlex™ bristles, which strike a balance between being gentle on sensitive scalps, but strong enough to detangle.

"The Shower Detangler’s IntelliFlex™ bristles are flexible yet strong, so they bend around knots instead of tearing through them. This movement gently loosens knots with just a few brush strokes, and without breaking, pulling or snapping hair," explains Liz Rosenzweig, a rep for Wet Brush. Hair is at its most fragile when wet, so it's important to choose carefully what you use to brush wet hair. "To make it even better suited for those who like to detangle in the shower, we created a vented design allows for easy cleaning and drying, so that mildew can’t build up on a cushion over time. The head is super flexible to make detangling even more comfortable," Rosenzweig says.

Post-shower tangles, bye forever.
