Beauty to me is being comfortable in your own skin and feeling confident. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing a woman who feels invincible!

The beautiful about beauty is that it can mean so many things. Working in the industry for the last nine years, I've seen so many facets of what "beauty" can be. There is of course, the physical aspect of it. I love the idea of transformation and of doing the best with what we have. I love color cosmetics. I love skincare. I love the different personalities you can express from fragrance. But from interviewing women on beauty over the years, I love that beauty also involves a spiritual aspect. What's in your heart and in your mind is so inextricably linked to beauty. Two people can have the same features and by the way they move or their confidence can come off completely different. At the end of the day, it's each person's unique personality that animates beauty and that's what makes it so fascinating for me.

"Beauty is a triple play of the heart, the mind and the hands.  Together, beauty dances within all three to create complex, engaging, intense women that push the boundaries of limitless stories, experiences and ultimately love.  Beauty lives within love and not fear. This lives within our souls.”

Jillian Wright, founder of Indie Beauty Expo

Beauty, to me is not any type of extravagance, but a way to better yourself and to make yourself feel and look good. My mother taught me this at a very young age, so I saw skincare as a way of self-care. I’m forever grateful for that lesson because I view beauty today as part of a greater wellness movement.

Beauty means being kind to others as well well as yourself. Take time to show and tell people around you how important they are. Also take the time to treat yourself to something that makes you feel beautiful.

To me, beauty is what kindness looks like.

I have been a beauty queen and model, yet always perceived myself as the smart girl not the prettiest one. This has served me well. Everyone is attracted to confidence, which in turn means that the beauty we project to others radiates and begins from within and comes with living your best life!
